Μετά το maintenance αυτής της εβδομάδας, θα μπορείτε επιτέλους να συμμετέχετε στα 2 events τα οποία έχουν ανακοινωθεί από την Blizzard ως μία μικρή εισαγωγή στο Cataclysm.

Οι Alliance ξεκινάνε το event στο Kharanos, Dun Morogh, ενώ οι horde στα Echo Isles, Durotar.</description>

- Ριζική αλλαγή του UI

- Πλέον τα glyphs τα αγοράζετε μια φορά, τα μαθαίνετε και μετά μένουν σαν spell στο UI, και όποτε θέλετε να αλλάξετε το κάνετε "cast" στο slot που θέλετε να το βάλετε.

Ναι οι scribes αυτήν την στιγμή ετοιμάζουν διαδήλωση που τους καταστρέφουν το gold income. Όλοι 12 στην Πλατεία Stormwind. 

- Βλέπετε και τις νέες 3 κατηγορίες (Prime, Major, Minor) και διαλέγετε 3 glyph απ'την κάθεμια. Χαμός?

Προς το παρόν έχουν ανακοινωθεί μόνο για rogues + shamans glyphs. Αναμένονται και για τα άλλα classes, καθώς και πολλές αλλαγές στο μέλλον. Η αλλαγή στο glyph of chain heal δεν θα περάσει έτσι.


 Rogue


Prime


    * Adrenaline Rush - Increases the duration of Adrenaline Rush by 5 sec.
    * Backstab - Your Backstab critical strikes grant you 5 energy.
    * Eviscerate - Increases the critical strike chance of Eviscerate by 10%.
    * Rupture - Increases the duration of Rupture by 4 sec.
    * Shadow Dance - Increases the duration of Shadow Dance by 2 sec.
    * Sinister Strike - Your Sinister Strikes have a 20% chance to add an additional combo point.
    * Hemorrhage - Your Hemorrhage ability also causes the target to bleed, dealing 40% of the direct strike's damage over 24 sec.
    * Killing Spree - Increases the bonus to your damage while Killing Spree is active by an additional 10%.
    * Mutilate - Reduces the cost of Mutilate by 5 energy.
    * Revealing Strike - Increases Revealing Strike's bonus effectiveness to your finishing moves by an additional 10%.
    * Slice and Dice - Increases the duration of Slice and Dice by 3 sec.
    * Vendetta - Increases the duration of your Vendetta ability by 20%.


Major


    * Vanish - Increases the duration of your Vanish effect by 2 sec.
    * Ambush - Increases the range on Ambush by 5 yards.
    * Blade Flurry - Reduces the penalty to energy generation while Blade Flurry is active by 50%.
    * Cloak of Shadows - While Cloak of Shadows is active, you take 40% less physical damage.
    * Crippling Poison - Increases the chance to inflict your target with Crippling Poison by an additional 20%.
    * Deadly Throw - Increases the slowing effect on Deadly Throw by 20%.
    * Evasion - Increases the duration of Evasion by 5 sec.
    * Expose Armor - Increases the duration of Expose Armor by 12 sec.
    * Fan of Knives - Increases the radius of your Fan of Knives ability by 50%.
    * Feint - Reduces the energy cost of Feint by 20.
    * Garrote - Increases the duration of your Garrote ability's silence effect by 2 sec.
    * Gouge - Your Gouge ability no longer requires that the target be facing you.
    * Preparation - Your Preparation ability also instantly resets the cooldown of Kick, Dismantle, and Smoke Bomb.
    * Sap - Increases the duration of Sap against non-player targets by 80 sec.
    * Sprint - Increases the movement speed of your Sprint ability by an additional 30%.
    * Tricks of the Trade - Removes the energy cost of your Tricks of the Trade ability.


Minor


    * Blurred Speed - Enables you to walk on water while your Sprint ability is active.
    * Safe Fall - Increases the distance your Safe Fall ability allows you to fall without taking damage.
    * Distract - Increases the range of your Distract ability by 5 yards.
    * Pick Lock - Reduces the cast time of your Pick Lock ability by 100%.
    * Pick Pocket - Increases the range of your Pick Pocket ability by 5 yards.
    * Poisoning - You apply poisons to your weapons 50% faster.


Shaman

    * Earth Shield - Increases the healing of your Earth Shield by 20%.
    * Earthliving Weapon - Increases the effectiveness of your Earthliving Weapon's periodic healing by 20%.
    * Feral Spirit - Your spirit wolves gain an additional 30% of your attack power.
    * Fire Elemental Totem - Reduces the cooldown of your Fire Elemental Totem by 5 minutes.
    * Glyph of Flame Shock - Increases the duration of your Flame Shock by 50%.
    * Flametongue Weapon - Increases spell critical strike chance by 2% while Flametongue Weapon is active.
    * Lava Burst - Your Lava Burst spell deals 10% more damage.
    * Lava Lash - Increases the damage dealt by your Lava Lash ability by 20%.
    * Lightning Bolt - Increases the damage dealt by Lightning Bolt by 4%.
    * Riptide - Increases the duration of Riptide by 40%.
    * Stormstrike - Increases the Nature damage bonus from your Stormstrike ability by an additional 8%.
    * Water Shield - Increases the passive mana regeneration of your Water Shield spell by 50%.
    * Windfury Weapon - Increases the chance per swing for Windfury Weapon to trigger by 2%.


Major


    * Chain Heal - Increases healing done by your Chain Heal spell to targets beyond the first by 15%, but decreases the amount received by the initial target by 10%.
    * Chain Lightning - Your Chain Lightning spell now strikes 2 additional targets, but deals 10% less initial damage.
    * Elemental Mastery - While your Elemental Mastery ability is active, you take 20% less damage from all sources.
    * Fire Nova - Increases the radius of your Fire Nova spell by 5 yards.
    * Frost Shock - Increases the duration of your Frost Shock by 2 seconds.
    * Ghost Wolf - Your Ghost Wolf spell form grants an additional 10% movement speed.
    * Grounding Totem - When your Grounding Totem absorbs a spell, it attempts to reflect that spell on its caster, but the cooldown of your Grounding Totem is increased by 45 seconds.
    * Healing Stream Totem - Your Healing Stream Totem also increases the Fire, Frost, and Nature resistance of party and raid members within 30 yards by 130.
    * Healing Wave - Your Healing Wave also heals you for 20% of the healing effect when you heal someone else.
    * Hex - Reduces the cooldown of your Hex spell by 15 seconds.
    * Lightning Shield - Your Lightning Shield can no longer drop below 3 charges from dealing damage to attackers.
    * Shamanistic Rage - Activating your Shamanistic Rage ability also cleanses you of all dispellable Magic debuffs.
    * Shocking - Reduces the global cooldown triggered by your Shock spells to 1 second.
    * Stoneclaw Totem - Your Stoneclaw Totem also places a damage absorb shield on you, equal to 4 times the strength of the shield it places on your totems.
    * Thunder - Reduces the cooldown on Thunderstorm by 10 seconds.
    * Totemic Recall - Causes your Totemic Recall ability to return an additional 50% of the mana cost of any recalled totems.


Minor


    * Arctic Wolf - Alters the appearance of your Ghost Wolf transformation, causing it to resemble an arctic wolf.
    * Astral Recall - Cooldown of your Astral Recall spell reduced by 7.5 minutes.
    * Renewed Life - Your Reincarnation spell no longer requires a reagent.

			<description>Στην τελευταία build προστέθηκε και το εξής achievement, που λύνει ένα μυστήριο των ημερών (από που παίρνουμε το dark phoenix, οεο!)

Η προσπάθεια της blizzard να προωθήσει τον σχηματισμό guilds, με καρότο τα extra rewards/perks/achievements/heirlooms/ποιός-ξέρει-τι-άλλο συνεχίζεται (E, πόσο pug να αντέξει πια αυτό το game).

Για διευκρίνιση, ως guild run μετράει αν τουλάχιστον 20/25 παίχτες είναι του guild. Για 10 man 8/10.</description>

We recently released a new Cataclysm beta launcher that allows you to stream game data while you play. We've received a lot of feedback from you regarding this new feature, and that feedback has allowed us to improve the player experience significantly.

In the next beta patch, you'll receive a new Cataclysm beta launcher that includes several updates to in-game streaming. Here's a quick preview of some of the upcoming changes:

    * Improved three-stage progress bar
    * Download speed improvements
    * Detailed peer-to-peer connection information
    * Bandwidth detection, which will improve the play experience of those with low bandwidth
    * New UI with a Cataclysm-inspired theme
    * Many bug fixes



We encourage you to continue posting your feedback about the streaming launcher, as we're constantly looking for ways to get you into the game faster and more smoothly.

Zul'Gurub is gone as a raid instance come Cataclysm. 


Twilight Highlands and Uldum are now open and ready for testing. You will need to do both zones to reach max level. It should also be noted that neither zone is 100% complete. Please refer to the quest forum for feedback:

Dispellable Buffs

Many buffs can be dispelled because they are magical effects and because it's strategic to do so. Some buffs can't be dispelled either because it doesn't make sense, because the class couldn't function without the buff, or both. Slice and Dice can't be dispelled, but Savage Roar and Inquisition can be. We might decide to make or all or none of them dispellable. We really need to see more end-game PvP to make that determination. (Source)

Reforging useful stats

It's a matter of degree. Some players will reforge for a sub 1% dps gain, and that's their prerogative. We don't think the stats need to be that close, but they need to be somewhat close. If Ret paladins perfer crit to haste (or Enhacement prefer haste to mastery, etc. etc.) then that's okay so long as crit doesn't provide twice the dps per stat point as haste. If you're willing to take a previous tier's gear because the stat budget is more optimal, then we've got a problem, as we had a few times in the LK content. (Source)

Lightwell vs. Health Stones

Healthstones are good and good players use them. If bad players continue to ignore Lightwell, we can live with that. If it becomes as useful as a Healthstone, perfect.

Also note that ignoring a Healthstone (or Lightwell) will be essentially like casting a mana drain on your healer, which is not the case today. 

Hunter

New Multi-Shot

Our current version of Multi-Shot has not target cap. It's a little like Fan of Knives.

Paladin

Seal Damage

There's no evidence of that though. You're just fretting. We nerfed Seal damage recently because Ret paladins were beating everyone on damage meters. We aren't spending much effort on numbers yet, but we need them to be reasonable enough so that playtesters don't do unusual things that they wouldn't do when the numbers are tuned more accurately. Holy Power on white attacks?

Holy Power on white attacks was too unpredictable to the point of annoying. Imagine you have 2 Holy Power, start to push Crusader Strike and then at that instant get a white attack proc. Now you have wasted your 1.5 sec GCD *and* wasted Holy Power because you're technically at 4 now. Having Holy Power tied to yellow attacks is at least the kind of thing you can train yourself to watch out for. If you aren't hitting any buttons, then you aren't going to get Holy Power for example. You can notice after every button mash if you got that extra proc or not -- they aren't just happening out of the blue. 

Druid

Can't use Shred on unusual raid encounters (Kologarn)

When we make an entire instance full of Kologarns then it will be a problem. I think you'll be fine if you can't manage maximum dps on every raid boss. I think the game loses far more when we can't make original bosses with unusual mechanics that we gain by having every dps spec do about the same relative damage on every fight. (Source)

Shred position prereq

PvP is rarely ever decided by someone's long term sustained dps though. It has a lot more to do with making the right decision at the right time.

In PvE there is no question that Shred is superior, but in most fights you can Shred. Those few fights where you can't Shred aren't ubiquitous enough to feel like a big deal. If you just find it too difficult to always get behind a creature to be able to Shred, then I'm not sure what to tell you. We don't think this problem is so widespread that Ferals are at a huge disadvantage overall. We agree that Feral has a really high skill cap in Lich King, but that's more do to the John Madden nature of the rotation than to Shred's positional requirement, and it's also something we've taken steps to improve in Cataclysm.

Many specs can't perform their highest 100% potential when mobs are moving or when they have to step out of the fire, but we aren't about to change those in order to make things easier on the player. I think raiding is plenty easy to be honest, unless you're talking about the more challenging heroic-mode encounters in which, yeah, we're asking you to step it up a little. (Source)

Innervate

Innervate is now based on YOUR mana, not the target's mana. GC specifically stated this makes Innervate useless for Ferals, as they do not want Ferals helping Healers in their mana management.
That's not actually what I said. I said that we wanted Feral's Innervate to be less powerful than Balance and Restoration, because we don't want "stack Ferals" to be the solution for healers who overheal a lot. Your Innervate will still be valued (probably more valued, all things considered), but it won't be and shouldn't be the magic pill that gets you a raid slot. 

Death Knight

Death Knights neglected in Cata?

"Neglect" is one of those words that typically makes developers roll their eyes and skip over to the next post. Just so you know.

Even the original DK trees are not very old compared to all the others, so in that sense, they didn't have so many layers of build up cruft that needed shaking off. We've changed up some of the mechanics that weren't working and got rid of some of the boring passive damage, but overall we didn't feel the need to replace talents like say Rime, Dirge or Killing Machine.

I'm just saying that it shouldn't come as much surprise that the most recently designed tree didn't need as much overhauling as say warrior and mage, which hadn't changed much since vanilla.]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[Επιτέλους υποχωρεί ο καύσωνας! Άσχετο αλλά ξέρω ότι όποιος δεν έχει κλιματιστικό με καταλαβαίνει.

Όπως είχε προαναγγελθεί σε twitter chat, το κόστος του dual specialization μειώθηκε στα 100g στην beta. Ό λόγος σύμφωνα με τους δημιουργούς είναι ότι ήθελαν να διευκολύνουν τους παίχτες στο να αλλάζουν ρόλους από πιο νωρίς ώστε να βρίσκουν πιο εύκολα και θέση στα dungeon. Το level που το μαθαίνουμε προς το παρόν παραμένει στο 40.

- To patch 3.9 θα είναι το τελευταίο patch πριν το Cataclysm.
(Τώρα είμαστε στο 3.3.5, καλά τα πάνε με τα νούμερα)
Θα περιλαμβάνει πολλές απ'τις νέες αλλαγές (νέα talent trees,mastery system) καθώς και το world event που θα αποτελεί εισαγωγή για το cataclysm.

-  Η εξέλιξη θα είναι κλασσικά: normal dungeons, heroic dungeons, raids.
Τα raid bosses στο 25man θα ρίχνουνε 5-6 items το καθένα. Για να ξεκλειδωθούν τα heroic modes θα πρέπει να καθαριστεί το dungeon πρώτα. Στα πρώτα tier των raids το τελικό boss θα είναι...

Απο διαφωνίες με τις εταιρείες, με το σύστημα λογοκρισίας της κινέζικης κυβέρνησης, διαφωνίες των εταιρείων με την κυβέρνηση, το παιχνίδι πήγαινε από αναβολή σε αναβολή.

			<description>Είναι διαθέσιμη προς downloading η νέα έκδοση της beta. Προς το παρόν αρνείται να κατεβεί για μένα, αλλά εν συντομία νέες προσθήκες από άλλα sites.

Προς το παρόν αποφάσισαν να δυσκολέψουν το leveling, αυξάνοντας το damage των mobs. Ετοιμαστείτε για βροχές QQ.

Creature damage output has been increased from roughly level 65 and up. These increases scale upward with level. Creatures in exterior zones at level 80 now have 2.5 times the damage output they did previously in beta, 3.2 times at level 81, and 4 times at level 82 and up.

We’d like to get your feedback about how combat feels with creatures in level 80-85 exterior zones, including spawn rates and number of creatures in specific locations in each zone. Please let us know if this feels adequately challenging, or if there is a little too much face rocking going on. 


To Tol Barad είναι διαθέσιμο για testing 

Νέα loading screens για όλες τις περιοχές όπου πλέον φιγουράρουν οι faction leaders.

Nέο interface για τους paladins (Holy power) και για τα companions/mounts.

Oι guild vendors είναι διαθέσιμοι. Πέρα από διακοσμητικά items και διάφορα recipes, πουλάνε και heirloom μέχρι το lvl 85.

Το mastery και το armor specialization είναι πλέον in-game και διαθέσιμα για δοκιμή.

Το riding skill για flying mounts με 310% speed θα κοστίζει 5000 gold. Όσοι έχουν ήδη γρήγορο mount, το μαθαίνουνε αυτόματα δωρεάν.

Tα relics, librams, sigils, idols πλέον έχουνε stats και sockets (ΝΑΑΑΑΑΑΑΑΑΑΑΑΑΑΑΑΑΑΑΑΑΑΑΑΑΑΑΑΑΑΑΑΑΑΑΑΑΑΑΑΑΙΙΙΙΙΙΙΙΙΙΙΙΙΙΙΙΙΙΙΙΙΙΙΙΙΙΙΙΙΙΙΙΙΙΙΙΙΙΙΙΙΙΙΙΙΙΙΙΙΙΙ!!) Eπίσης στο cataclysm πλέον δεν θα είναι class specific, αλλά μια κατηγορία για όλα τα classes.

Νέα loading screens για όλες τις περιοχές όπου πλέον φιγουράρουν οι faction leaders.<br />

Oι guild vendors είναι διαθέσιμοι. Πέρα από διακοσμητικά items και διάφορα recipes, πουλάνε και heirloom μέχρι το lvl 85.<br />

Το mastery και το armor specialization είναι πλέον in-game και διαθέσιμα για δοκιμή.<br />

Το riding skill για flying mounts με 310% speed θα κοστίζει 5000 gold. Όσοι έχουν ήδη γρήγορο mount, το μαθαίνουνε αυτόματα δωρεάν.<br />

			<description><![CDATA[Πριν από λίγες μέρες έγινε η συνάντηση των μετόχων της Activision Blizzard. Ανάμεσα σε άλλα (όπως το ότι η εταιρεία αναμένει την φετινή χρονιά να είναι η πλέον κερδοφόρος στην ιστορία της), άμεσου ενδιαφέροντος είναι οι δηλώσεις για την ημερομήνια κυκλοφόριας του Cataclysm. Σύμφωνα με την εταιρεία λοιπόν, βρίσκονται ακόμα στον στόχο τους για κυκλοφορία στα τέλη του 2010.



Also I'd like to point the release of Cataclysm being our best expansion yet for World of Warcraft. Although an exact release date has not yet been announced, we are on track to launch the expansion by the end of the year. As with all Blizzard games though, we won't release until it's ready.
